Death camps were also created to solve the so-called "Jewish question". Even the frostbitten SS men became ill, and some of them were unable to continue the massacres. Then the officers, to quickly complete the extermination of a huge mass of people, ordered everyone to be driven into mined pits and blown up. Propaganda companies photographed these heaps of corpses, filmed them, and fabricated motion pictures. Then for a long time in all cinemas in Germany and the countries of Europe occupied by 3rd Reich, these films were shown and advertised as Russian atrocities. All German newspapers published photographs of corpses, and these murders were portrayed as atrocities of the Soviet troops. But we, soldiers, knew that German propaganda was deceiving millions of people by attributing wild crimes and atrocities committed by German troops on Russian territory to the Russians."
